Karina Heneghan is not just a photographer, she is a
storyteller. Her work reflects emotions and reveals
the laughter, tears, and excitement that her subjects
are experiencing. I’ve hired her on several occasions
to take photographs of staff at the Florida Fish &
Wildlife Research Institute. First, to take photos of
our annual open house event whereby several thousand
school children make their way through our building
and get to experience what it’s like to be a marine
biologist. As the media specialist, I am responsible
for advertising and publicizing the event. I’ve used
Ms. Heneghan’s photographs on our web site, in
thousands of postcards, newspaper ads, posters and
various other items used for publicity purposes. I’ve
also hired her to take photographs of our senior
staff. Often times world renowned scientist are in
the news and I’m constantly getting requests from
reporters for headshots of staff for their articles.
Ms. Heneghan is reliable, professional, and again,
really captures the moment.

Karina is an amazing photographer of the highest
caliber. I looked at all of the photographers in my
area, from the lowest price ranges to the highest. Her
work was actually superior to the work of a famous
photographer in Florida whose prices began at 20
thousand dollars. I have always had a good eye for
quality and I knew right away she was the one I wanted
as my wedding photographer. Despite that Karina's work
was at the 20k level, I was thrilled to discover that
her prices were better suited for our budget. I loved
the way she made us look- like movie stars, and believe
me we are not movie star looking people. In addition,
her presence in my wedding was a joyful uplifting
experience. She was as helpful and cheerful as my brides
maids. She obviously loves photography, and it is to a
bride's advantage to hire someone who is not only
superior at what they do, but who truly loves it as
well. We plan on hiring her again for future events,
despite that we moved to another state. She is worth
